Donna Wright, VP of Marketing & Development

Donna balances strategic communications with life as the parent of two teenagers, bringing both creativity and compassion to everything she does. At The Able Trust, she shapes campaigns that are engaging, thoughtful, and grounded in purpose.
Outside of work, Donna can often be found at a tennis match, golf tournament, or planning an unforgettable dinner party. A North Carolina native with a master’s degree from FSU, Donna is known for her style, sense of fun, and deep commitment to giving back, serving on multiple boards and supporting a number of nonprofit organizations.
Leanne Rexford, Director of Development & Engagement
Leanne brings a passionate, relationship-driven approach to her work at The Able Trust, informed by her experiences as a new mom, a Type 1 diabetic, and a proud dog mom to two spoiled pups. She focuses on building meaningful partnerships that drive the mission forward.
Originally from New Hampshire, fluent in Seinfeld quotes and fueled by caffeine, Leanne is known for her follow-through, thoughtfulness, and steady sense of purpose — often checking things off her to-do list before most people finish their first cup of coffee.

The Able Circle FAQ
Your investment in The Able Trust ensures that we can continue our mission: “to advance employment for Floridians with disabilities through engagement, investment, and collaboration.” Without your support, too many students with disabilities in Florida would never have the chance to explore postsecondary and career pathways that show them what’s possible.
A monthly gift of any amount is a consistent donation debited from your card of choice to The Able Trust and will go directly to supporting our youth programs across the state of Florida.
Through The Able Trust’s Donor Portal, you are able to manage your monthly gift, update your profile information, and change your payment method and payment date.

You will receive a notification a month before your credit card expires. From there, you are able to log in to the portal to update your card information.

On average, $0.89 of every dollar donated goes directly to supporting our youth programs—funding career exploration experiences, work-based learning, employer engagement, postsecondary exposure, and the staff and community partnerships that make these outcomes possible. Your consistent monthly support allows us to plan ahead, reach more students across Florida, and sustain the high-impact programming that leads to a 99% high school graduation rate and increased postsecondary enrollment.

The Able Trust is a tax-exempt organization, as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Able Trust is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170. Therefore your gift is a tax-deductible donation to the full extent provided by law.

About The Able Trust
The mission of The Able Trust is to advance employment for Floridians with disabilities through engagement, investment, and collaboration.
Established by the Florida Legislature in 1990, The Able Trust is a 501(c)(3) public charity. As the direct support organization for the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, we support efforts to raise awareness and increase employment opportunities of Floridians with disabilities.
Today’s students are our future workforce, and The Able Trust youth programs support students with disabilities by providing transition services to help prepare them for life after high school. Using the nationally recognized Guideposts for Success, High School High Tech and Futures in Focus help connect students with disabilities to a future they might not have thought possible.
