I want to learn how to start an ABLE account, can you help me?

We are often confused with ABLE United which is the organization that manages ABLE accounts. They are a wonderful partner to The Able Trust, and you can find more information on their website: www.ableunited.com.

Can The Able Trust help with funding for my organization?

The first 30 years of our history has been focused on grant making to local nonprofits. However, through our recent strategic planning process and research, we have determined that our resources can have a greater impact when we work as a convener and capacity builder. There may be opportunities for your organization to partner with us on testing a potential solution for closing the disability workforce participation gap. The Able Trust is not a direct employment service provider. However, we have relationships with Vocational Rehabilitation and nonprofit organizations throughout the state who work directly with Floridians with disabilities who are seeking employment.   • We believe in collective impact and are creating the Able Network which includes businesses, providers, and educators for this very purpose. Let us know if you would like to learn more about the Able Network and becoming a member. For information, contact Leanne Rexford at [email protected].
  • If you are seeking sponsorship of an event, let us know your plans and the sponsorship opportunities you are offering. We review these on a quarterly basis. Awards can range from $500 to $5,000 depending on the number of requests we receive during the quarter. Forward your sponsorship details to [email protected].
