Florida Youth Leadership Forum: Students

Students

To participate in the Florida Youth Leadership Forum (YLF), a student must meet the following requirements:

Be a Florida rising high school junior or senior (students should be preparing to enter the 12th or 12th grade at the time of the YLF in July)
Have a disability as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Show demonstrated leadership potential
Show participation in extra-curricular activities and community involvement
Possess the ability to interact effectively with other students,
Be capable of adapting to new surroundings and following an intense schedule of forum activities,
Demonstrate a willingness to participate in small and large group discussions.
Show proof of health insurance (private insurance, KidsCare or Medicaid are acceptable)
