YLF 2003 Highlights
The Able Trust Congratulates the 2003 Youth Leadership Forum Delegates
Entering its fourth year, The Able Trust’s Florida Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) has become a vehicle for high school juniors and seniors with disabilities in Florida to explore their leadership potential in school, business and society. The YLF’s growing popularity is evidenced by the outstanding pool of applicants for this year’s event, which will take place July 24th through the 27th.
After a rigorous selection process The Able Trust is pleased to announce the 57 outstanding delegates that will represent their communities at this year’s event. These delegates will travel to the state capital where they will take part in four days of leadership building, networking, self-advocacy, and interactive learning about issues affecting youths with disabilities such as academic opportunities, independent living, special resources and more. The delegates will also have the opportunity to interact socially with professionals with disabilities, state officials, and other youths with disabilities from around the state.
The Able Trust would like to congratulate this year’s delegates and welcome them to the 2003 Youth Leadership Forum.
