The National Conference of the President's Committee on Employment of People, with Disabilities will be informative, exciting, and timely. During the two-day training conference, attendees will have the opportunity to select from more than 20 workshops, given by nationally recognized experts, on a wide range of subjects related to employment of people with disabilities. Particular focus will be on technology issues. Many workshops will be repeated, allowing attendees flexibility in scheduling their time. Symposia on technology and on cultural diversity issues are also scheduled.
In the Opening Session, prominent government officials will address issues related to the employment of people with disabilities, top business and labor leaders will offer perspectives on disability issues in the workplace, and experts in the fields of employment and technology will explore future trends.
