Meet The Newest Able Trust Staff Members

Natalie Lamb
Natalie Lamb joined The Able Trust as Director of Development and Marketing on October 13, 2008. She comes to The Able Trust from the Florida State University Foundation where she raised funds for the College of nursing. Formerly, she served for eleven years in program and resource management coordinating efforts and securing funds for county-wide literacy services, United Way agencies throughout the Big Bend, as well as programs providing training and technical assistance in Central America and the Caribbean.

Ms. Lamb received her B.A. from Florida State University in English Literature and served as the Fund-raising Director for Golden Key International Honor Society and is a member of Lambda Iota Tau literary honor society. natalie can be reached at Natalie@abletrust.org.

Samantha Springfield
Samantha Springfield joined The Able Trust as Administrative Assistant to the President & CEO on October 20, 2008. She most recently worked as Operations Supervisor/Budget Analyst for the University Library Director at California State University- East Bay. Prior to that, she worked as Financial Project Coordinator for the CFO at Alliant International University.

Her past experiences in Florida include work with Florida Hospices and Palliative Care. She earned her Associate in Arts Degree from City College of San Francisco in 2005. She is a member of Tallahassee 25, Big Bend Homeless Coalition, and the NAACP. She is also an accomplished ballet dancer. You can reach Samantha by e-mail at Samantha@abletrust.org.

Ray Ford
Ray Ford is serving The Able Trust as the Assistant Director of Communications & Events and began his tenure on november 17, 2008. He comes to The Able Trust after spending seven years as Coordinator of Information/ Publications at The Florida University Housing Department. In that time he also served as Coordinator of Summer Conferences at FSU.

Previously he was Coordinator of Information and Publications for the Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida. ray is a 1997 graduate of the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. He can be reached at Ray@abletrust.org.
