The Able Trust’s Grant Training Presentation Available Online

A regional Grant Training was held in Tampa, Florida on Friday, June 27, 2008. You can find the whole regional Grant Training presentation at http://abletrust.org/knowledge/regionalgranttraining.shtml.

The presentation covers the basics on how to communicate with funders in general and how to apply for funding specifically from The Able Trust. All 501(c)(3) organizations that provide employment placement to individuals with disabilities are encouraged to view this Power Point presentation. The presentation offers interested organizations tactics, resources, information and tips on how to apply for a grant from The Able Trust. The Able Trust awards grants to nonprofit agencies providing employment-related programs to people with disabilities, and has done so in all of Florida’s 67 counties. The Able Trust’s Grant Committee meets four times a year, and at such times will consider all qualifying proposals. In addition to considering proposals year-round, at least two special RFP’s are issued each year with attempts to focus on under-served areas within the state of Florida or new concepts and innovative approaches in service delivery.
