Message from the Chair

What a fantastic gala The Able Trust held this year at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach! The “Mojitos at Midnight” Gala’s Cuban-themed atmosphere was simply mesmerizing. The spectacular décor and entertainment set the scene for an old world Havana experience. Guests enjoyed browsing and bidding on the exclusive silent auction items, gambling at the casino tables and visiting with old and new friends. Celebrity guests included LPGA golfer Michelle McGann and a surprise appearance by Mr. Donald Trump, adding to the excitement of the evening.

We would like to extend a special thank you to our gala chairs, Cathy & Rudy Polselli, who chaired a steering committee made up of incredible volunteers who together worked tirelessly over the past months to create an unforgettable experience for every guest.

We are deeply indebted to our gala sponsors. Their continued support and generosity will enable The Able Trust to grow its endowment and continue providing vital services to Floridians with disabilities well into the future.

Truly, the gala celebrated the abilities of all Floridians with disabilities. Each guests’ contributions helped provide a nest egg for The Able Trust to continue awarding over $1 million in grants across the state each year to ensure that people with all types of disabilities can achieve the American dream through meaningful employment.
