Message from the Chair

This year is already off to an exciting start, and a number of amazing events and activities still await us around the corner.

Our Ability Awards reception and ceremony was inspiring. Congratu-lations to all of our award recipients, and thank you for the work you do and the dedication you show toward bettering the lives of Floridians with disabilities. It is our privilege to highlight the work you do for others.

Along with our award recipients, The Able Trust also recognized two other individuals for their work and service to The Able Trust and people with disabilities.

The Tallahassee High School/High Tech (HS/HT) program was selected out of 20 sites around the state as the HS/HT Project of the Year. Cat Keen, Project Coordinator, accepted the award and was acknowledged for her work, encouragement and enthusiasm in assisting high school students with disabilities pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math. Bob Bromberg, ambassador to The Able Trust, received an Award of Service. He has been involved with and supported The Able Trust since 2001, participating in a number of activities including the Business Leadership Network (BLN) and grant check presentations. We want to sincerely thank Ms. Keen and Mr. Bromberg for all of their effort and service to The Able Trust and its mission. It is truly a pleasure working with you.
