The Able Trust Seeks Proposals from Rural Counties to Address Employment Needs

The Able Trust is looking to expand its outreach efforts to several rural counties in Florida. The Foundation is hoping to make grant awards for disability employment projects in Union, Liberty, Lafayette and Hamilton Counties. Organizations seeking a grant should be Florida based and have a 501c3 status, with a project that provides a direct employment outcome for individuals with disabilities in the above-mentioned counties. There are no deadlines to submit a grant proposal to The Able Trust, which makes awards four times a year.

Grant information and proposal guidelines can be found on The Able Trust website at www.abletrust.org or by calling toll-free 888.838.2253. The website includes the Knowledge Center, which is geared specifically to help service providers with their grant inquiries. It contains a sample grant proposal, as well as program scenarios from several successfully funded grant projects.
