On March 30, The Able Trust hosted a reception to kick off plans for the Foundation’s seventh annual Gala. The event took place at Tsunami, the newest hot spot at City Place in West Palm Beach. Guests enjoyed an electric atmosphere complete with Asian-fusion and sushi hor d’eourves, champagne and specialty mandarin cocktails.
The event enabled The Able Trust to unveil its theme for the November 6 gala, when guests will be treated to a night “Under the Mandarin Moon” at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. In addition, the Trust recognized this year’s Gala Chair, Mr. Jim Palmer, National Baseball League Hall of Famer. The Able Trust also named sponsors-to-date for the upcoming event, including JFK Medical Center and Walt Disney World Company, as well as Committee Honorees for the four charities that will benefit from proceeds raised.
Special thanks to The Gardens of the Palm Beaches, VIVE Magazine, Hyatt Sarasota and Pravda Vodka for their support of the event. For more information about the 2004 Gala, contact Kristen Knapp, APR, at kristen@abletrust.org.
