Fifth Annual Gala Kicks Off with Fundraising Activities in Palm Beach

The Able Trust kicked off the 2002 year with two exciting opportunities from its annual Gala at Mar-a-Lago sponsors.

On January 11, VIVE Magazine invited The Able Trust to be the beneficiary of a special raffle during their first anniversary celebration. The party took place al fresco at CityPlace in West Palm Beach. Over 300 people attended the event and purchased tickets for a chance to win an elegant stainless steel watch donated by Bvlgari. Other prizes included a spa weekend at Guerlain, Paris at The Breakers and two tickets to a Walt Disney World theme park. As a result of the event, The Able Trust raised over $1,500.

On Friday, January 25, Bloomingdale's of the Palm Beaches hosted an event in which a portion of sale proceeds were donated to The Able Trust. As a result, The Able Trust received a $5,000 contribution from the store.

The Able Trust was extremely grateful for VIVE Magazine, Bvlgari, Bloomingdale's, Guerlain, Paris and Walt Disney World Co.‰ who will also support the 2002 Gala at Mar-a-Lago, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2002. This year's theme will feature the passion and excitement of Le Moulin Rouge, so look for more details to come soon.
