Foundation Appoints New Officers to Lead Board of Directors

The Able Trust is pleased to announce the newly-elected officers for the Board of Directors, who will each serve a 2-year term. The officer transition took place at The Able Trust's fall board meeting in Orlando in September. Prior to the meeting board members presented outgoing chair Eladio Amores with a leadership and service award for his continued dedication to Floridians with disabilities.

Florence Bonsuk, who previously served as Vice Chair, was named Chair of the Board. Bonsuk is CEO of Paradise Punch in Palm Beach Gardens. She serves as the chair of the annual Gala at Mar-a-Lago and is also involved in a number of local disability organizations, including The Arc of Palm Beach County.

Additional members of the board's Executive Committee include Eladio Amores, Vice Chair, of Marriott Corporation in Tampa; James Smith, Ph.D., MBA, Treasurer, of iviGene Corp. in Gainesville; and James Saunders, Secretary, of J. Saunders and Associates in Tampa.
