Visitors to The Able Trust website will now find a new look with user friendly links and more up-to-date information. The redesigned homepage features photos of grant recipients and a text-only version for visually impaired users. The website will now provide more information on Able Trust programs such as the Business Leadership Network, High School High Tech and Youth Leadership Program. Users interested in grant information will now find the complete Grant Program Information Booklet on-line, as well as successful employment projects to use as reference.
Attorneys, CPAs and financial planners will now find access to free information on private letter rulings, applicable code and cases relating to charitable tax planning, tax and gift law articles and weekly case studies for gift plan issues suggesting possible tax solutions. The service is a result of a partnership with GiftLaw, a service of Crescendo Software and Comdel, Inc. By accessing the Giftlaw link on the Endowment page, planners can receive links to web pages and weekly email updates on current tax law, gift plan issues and IRS regulations that relate to charitable tax planning. Each week, The Able Trust will provide an email to financial planners with a brief summary of industry updates.
The Trust will continue to offer current and archived editions of the Florida Grantor on-line and updates on President's Committee activities. In addition, users can access Abilities On-Line, the free internet job and resume database, directly from the homepage.
