Agency Overview

The Florida Outcome Improvement Project assists Community Rehabilitation Providers in the improvement of their organizational outcomes and effectiveness with an emphasis on employment and community integration. The Project achieves improved outcomes through the provision of training and technical assistance, as well as program development services. It is facilitated through the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) at the University of South Florida. CARD USF is a community-based project that provides information and consultation to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities. Its mission is to provide support and assistance with the goal of optimizing the potential of people with autism and related disabilities. CARD-USF offers instruction and coaching to families and professionals through a training and assistance model.

CARD serves Florida families and professionals within the following counties: Charlotte, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Okeechobee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, St. Lucie and Sarasota.
