About HS/HT

HS/HT Nationwide

High School/High Tech (HS/HT) programs are forming across the nation to ensure that youth with all types of disabilities are being exposed to a wide range of technology-related careers. The Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) has worked to ensure that the HS/HT program reflects the latest in evidence-based research on what youth with disabilities need to transition into employment successfully.

Technical assistance and support to HS/HT sites nationwide is provided by the ODEP-funded National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth (NCWD/Youth). With the support of NCWD/Youth, ODEP has produced a new HS/HT Program Manual, assisting HS/HT sites by incorporating the transition design features into their programs.
