Florida’s USBLN Awards

The United States Business Leadership Network recently awarded two Florida BLN members with 2006 Exceptional Leadership Awards. The Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) received the “Exceptional Partner of the Year” award for supporting and funding eight of Florida’s local BLN Chapters. Comcast Cablevision in Tallahassee received the national “Employer of the Year - Large Employer” Award for its activities to hire students and adults with disabilities and promote the employment of people with disabilities through its involvement with the Big Bend BLN. These awards were given during the USBLN annual conference in Minneapolis.
