Florida BLN Webinar Series Frequently Asked Questions
The Florida BLN Webinar series works just like an audio conference call, but gives registrants the opportunity to follow along with the speaker’s power point presentation via the Internet.
How do I participate via phone?
Registrants can dial in from any telephone, mobile or audio conferencing unit around the world. All you have to do is pick up the phone and dial in, using the telephone number and PIN that will be provided to you upon your registration.
Do I need a computer?
If you wish to follow along with the power point presentation during the webinar, you will need access to a computer. After you register, you will receive an email with a web link. Once you click on the link you will be asked to enter the name you provided during your registration. This will allow you to enter the web presentation so you can follow along during the call.
What is required to run the webinar presentation on my computer?
Registrants just need the ability to access the Internet to join the webinar.
What if I have technical problems during the presentation?
You can press *0 at any time during the webinar and an operator will assist them with the audio or web portion of the presentation.
Accessibility
Registrants needing accessible formats must request the presentation 10 business days prior to the webinar. Please indicate if you need the presentation in large print, computer file or Braille.
What is the cost for the webinar?
Please note you must be on the membership roster of the Florida BLN or local chapter BLN as of March 1, 2008 to participate in the Webinar free of charge. Non-BLN members are asked for a suggested donation of $25 to The Able Trust, the nonprofit foundation that sponsors the Florida BLN.
