The Able Trust E-mentoring Program

Get an E-Mentor: Application

The Able Trust e-Mentoring program is a pilot project of the Florida High School/High Tech (HS/HT) program and the Florida Youth Leadership Forum. To be matched with a career e-Mentor, you must be participating with your local HS/HT site or have attended the Youth Leadership Forum. If you are currently a participating HS/HT student or an alumni of the YLF, click here to continue to the Mentee application site.

Florida HS/HT is a community-based partnership made up of students, parents and caregivers, businesses, educators and rehabilitation professionals. High school students with all types of disabilities, between the ages of 14-22, are encouraged to participate. Local project sites are located across the state, linking hundreds of students each year to a broad range of academic resources, career development opportunities and on-the-job experiences.

The Florida Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is an annual career and leadership training program that is both educational and motivational. Sponsored annually by The Able Trust, the YLF brings together rising high school juniors and seniors each summer to spend a long weekend in Tallahassee learning about community and academic resources, disability history, career options and personal leadership. They also take part in social activities which enable them to network, learn from each other and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

If you have reached this page and are not currently a HS/HT student or alumni of the Youth Leadership Forum, please visit the Youth link to learn more about these and other youth programs sponsored by The Able Trust. , please visit the Florida HS/HT website at www.floridahsht.org to learn more about the program and find a local site near you.
