Mission Statement
The Mission of the Panhandle BLN is to educate Gulf Coast area business leaders and to expand fair employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Objectives
- To increase the employed percentage of people with disabilities and measure our success.
- To act as an information resource for employers regarding employing people with disabilities.
- To increase the knowledge of local businesses by providing training on ADA, Workers Compensation and other disability related issues.
- To encourage others to participate in the BLN.
- To sponsor disability related events (such as, an event during disabilities month in Oct).
- To establish non-profit status for the Panhandle Chapter.
- We will create educational support for a culture of inclusiveness.
